1. Purpose of Collecting and Using Personal Information

Hyper Log (the "Service") collects and uses personal information for the following purposes:

• Membership registration and management: providing membership-based services, identifying individuals, and preventing fraudulent use by bad-faith members
• Service provision: roasting log recording, data storage and analysis, profile management, roastery operations management (Factory), and community services
• Service improvement: service usage statistics and collecting user feedback
• Customer support: responding to inquiries and delivering announcements

2. Personal Information Items Collected

The Service collects the following personal information for membership registration and service use:

• Required items: email address, password (stored encrypted), name
• Optional items: profile photo
• Automatically collected items: service usage records, access logs, cookies, and access IP information
• Connection diagnostics and feature usage counts (collected regardless of consent): connection method (web/app), browser and OS type, roaster model, failure reason, and how many times features (cost calculation, automatic lot selection, price alerts, etc.) were used. These are not linked to your account and contain no personally identifiable values.
• Roasting statistics (anonymous, combined): to let you compare with other roasters, total time, first-crack time, development ratio and weight loss are shown only as values combined across members. Nothing is shown when fewer than 3 members are included, and no one’s individual roasts, name or equipment are shown to other members.

3. Retention and Use Period of Personal Information

In principle, a member's personal information is destroyed without delay once the purpose of its collection and use has been achieved.

• Upon membership withdrawal: destroyed immediately (however, if retention is required by applicable law, it is kept for the relevant period)
• Service usage records: 3 years
• Login records: 1 year

4. Provision of Personal Information to Third Parties

In principle, the Service does not provide users' personal information to external parties. However, the following are exceptions:

• When the user has consented in advance
• When required by an investigative agency pursuant to the procedures and methods prescribed by law, or in accordance with the provisions of applicable law

• Password encryption: users' passwords are stored and managed in encrypted form.
• SSL/TLS encryption: all data transmissions are protected with SSL/TLS encryption.
• Access privilege management: access privileges to personal information are minimized.

The Service designates a Chief Privacy Officer as set out below to take overall responsibility for personal information processing and to handle complaints and remedy harm from data subjects in connection with personal information processing.

10. Changes to the Privacy Policy

This Privacy Policy applies from its effective date, and in the event of any additions, deletions, or corrections of changes pursuant to law and policy, we will give notice via announcements at least 7 days before the changes take effect.
